Heather comes to EPIC Healing Eugene with a 25 year background in patient care throughout the life cycle. She started her career in homebirth midwifery and herbalism and moved into nursing in the Emergency room for over a decade. She spent 5 years as an IV and infusion nurse and is currently working as a cannabis nurse herbalist in a private practice. Heather has training in ketamine therapy and has worked for an at home ketamine company as well as EPIC Healing Eugene from Spring to Fall 2022 offering IM injections and supervised IVs to support the Ketamine Assisted Therapy process. Clients love Heather!
Heather brings a holistic approach to her work as she knows that mind, body, and spirit are one. She is inspired by the healing she has witnessed with ketamine and other psychedelics and is committed to supporting patients through their healing journey. She blends her experience in herbal and natural medicine with her experience in acute care to provide safe and caring space for the patients she works with.
Heather is also a community educator, locally and nationally. She works as part of Subtle Winds Psilocybin Education Team, and teaches at conferences on herbal medicine, cannabis medicine and other health topics. Heather completed the Fluence Training Modules in Ketamine and is continuing her studies in psychedelic preparation and integration. Heather is part of EPIC’s core leadership team helping with a myriad of tasks in her roles as administrative support, intake, service worker, healing support staff, and more.
Heather is especially good at supporting clients in exploring and implementing positive self-care, lifestyle changes that enhance health and vitality, and supporting those with terminal diagnosis and end of life care issues.
