Gared is the owner and founder of Uptown Fungus, one of the first three licensed psilocybin growers. In addition to growing the mushrooms, he is also lending a hand and heart to our center.

Gared is a veteran, and has previously spent over 16 years working in a government department that frequently deals with and assists with issues relating to mental illness, addiction and homelessness. He has a background in energy work, including Tantra and Shamanic modalities with a little teaching and guiding experience. Having personally witnessed the healing potential of psilocybin, and wanting to embark on a new path in life, he has decided to become a grower for the special varieties we use at our service center, and he is enthusiastic about helping and being a part of the whole process.
