Adelle Gascoigne, BS

Intake Support

EPIC Service Worker • OHA/OPS Worker Permit Holder

Adelle has always been passionate about mental health and understanding the functions of the
brain. She started out pursuing a path in journalism to bring awareness to the potential of
psychedelics and quickly realized a degree in psychology would allow her to truly research and
explore these amazing medicines. After starting school in Los Angeles, she ended up
transferring and finishing her degree in Montana—her home state. This transition allowed her to
volunteer at Cancer Support Community which expanded her interest in helping those with
death anxiety.

In the last several years, Adelle has spent her time researching a wide array of subjects,
specifically psilocybin’s effects on death anxiety in cancer patients, substance use disorders,
treatment-resistant depression, and the default-mode network.

In between her studies, she has spent two summers working for a non-profit in Alaska. Adelle
recently moved to Eugene to be where the magic is happening and is currently on track to be
licensed as a psilocybin facilitator in January 2025. The topics that Adelle is most passionate
about are the ones that hit the closest to home for her and this allows her to bring unconditional
empathy into the healing space.

In her free time, Adelle loves exploring in nature, searching for little critters like frogs and
salamanders, watching movies, reading, going to live music, and creating art. She especially
cares about spending time with the people she loves and likes to create community wherever
she goes.
