EPIC Newsletter Issue 6
EPIC Healing Eugene
January 24, 2024
EPIC Healing Eugene and sister company Radiant Heart Consulting extend a Happy New Year greeting to you, and hope this newsletter finds everyone well as we go through Winter.
Thank you all who have been following our EPIC Journey of becoming the first state-licensed service center in Oregon to offer a legalized framework for psilocybin services. We extend heartfelt gratitude to those who have come and have shared their personal growth journeys with us. We are truly honored.
The visit of snow and ice this month was quite inconvenient and created hardship for many, but was also pretty here in Eugene and did add some character to our courtyard. We certainly are looking forward to spring and the awakened nature scenes it brings, including having flowers back in bloom in our courtyard.
Here at EPIC Healing Eugene, we have now served 103 clients. We’ve added more intake, service workers, and facilitation staff to our team, and can now serve clients seven days a week. Considering we are a small service center focused primarily on individual services, we mostly use one of our two rooms, unless we’re serving couples and small groups. We continue to focus on personalized and nurturing services, and still hope to grow into a larger, second location when we find the right place. We envision having a group space, which would not only increase our service capacity and accessibility, but provide a space for personal growth retreats.
We thought we had found our second location, actually twice in the past three months, but for reasons related to building condition in one case and school proximity (re. Oregon’s service center rules) in the other, we are back to searching for the right place. In the process, we’ve gained greater clarity on how important outdoor space is. Clients often comment on how much they enjoy our indoor plants, the windows, skylights, hummingbirds visiting the feeders, and the glass doors that open to our private courtyard. We plan to keep our original location and offer more services, while we wait for our retreat space with outdoor access to come to us. Wish us luck.
New Offerings are going well: In addition to us offering two hours of individual preparation and two hours of individual integration as part of all of our psilocybin offerings, we offer a free monthly Preparation Group, and also a free on-going Integration Group. We are really enjoying getting to know the clients that are participating in these extra supportive offerings. It’s been nice to witness a sense of community developing. Thank you to all who have been coming, including our staff members.
We’re expanding our EPIC Healing service range, so we can serve more people on our waitlist. Some of our Radiant Heart Consulting facilitators are starting to work at different locations besides our setting at EPIC Healing Eugene. Expanded service locations include Fractal Soul in Beaverton, Oregon, and coming soon at Omnia in Ashland, Oregon.
We are also designing some retreat offerings, so clients who want a more immersive healing experience can have that. These 3-4 day retreat offerings will be offered in the Portland, Ashland, and Eugene areas. Stay tuned for details on that. We hope to offer our first ones this Spring / Summer.
EPIC and Radiant Heart have been donating 5% of their revenue since inception to our Pay-It-Forward Fund to help clients with limited means.
As a reminder, we don’t go only in order for our waitlist. If you’ve been on the waitlist for a while, feel free to reach out again so we can move you up on the list.
If you haven’t done so lately, please check out our EPIC Healing Eugene FAQ page for commonly asked questions. To get onto our waitlist, please visit the EPIC Healing Eugene Contact Page, and to learn about our Radiant Heart Consulting facilitators (we’ve been adding more people) and a variety of helpful resources including our YouTube videos on preparation and integration, please visit our Radiant Heart Consulting Resources page.
Wishing all the best. Thanks again for your support.
Warmly,
Cathy Jonas, and the EPIC Healing Eugene and Radiant Heart Consulting Team
